One of our volunteers will go to the person that needs help, often with the occupational therapist or other health care professional. We will discuss what is required and then design and make, or adapt the equipment for that person.
Volunteers may need to make several visits to get the equipment exactly right and they will explain how it should be used to ensure its use is safe.
The equipment is supplied free of charge. if there are any problems with it in future please contact us and we will be happy to modify it or adjust as necessary. Equipment no longer required should be returned to Remap so that we can possibly use it to help others.
Although the Remap service is free, many people like to support the charity by making a donation, circulating leaflets, letting others know how we have helped, or, by volunteering themselves.
